Astra is a self taught artist, born in Essex and now living in Suffolk, Astra creates realism pen drawings with a surreal twist.
Astra’s drawing of the Rhino and Blue Tit is from her first Children’s book The Blue Tit Travels Africa. An illustrated book about the bravery and adventure of a Blue Tit abroad where he learns that different isn’t scary, it’s just different.
 
“I strongly believe that we need more access and help to mental health care in this country. For far too long the vulnerable have been unsupported and services have been unfunded. I am more than happy to support any means of access, so I have donated one of my illustrations to InspireUK to support the charity and their mission.”
